Professor Arzu Ari is Vice Dean for Research at Texas State University, USA.

Professor Ari’s primary area of research is aerosol medicine which is closely tied to current practices of the delivery of inhaled drugs and the performance of aerosol devices to optimize drug delivery not only in spontaneously breathing adults, pediatrics, and neonates but also critically ill patients receiving ventilator support.

She is also Chair at International Education Recognition System of the American Association for Respiratory Care ( AARC).

As a professor and researcher since 2005, Professor Ari:

• Gave 338 presentations at conferences worldwide.
• Published 91 peer-reviewed articles, 85 conference proceedings, 17 book chapters, 2 clinical practice guidelines, and 2 books.
• Received 35 awards
• Developed and taught 26 educational programs on aerosol drug delivery and respiratory care for clinicians worldwide
